Hajj
On the 6th of June 2022 the Saudi Ministry of Hajj announced the introduction of a new system for European, American and Australian pilgrims to register for Hajj. This new system means that the Saudi ministry has licensed a number of Saudi companies to provide the Hajj packages for the pilgrims abroad. There is an option for us to support you through the reservation process and pre-departure training. You can email us a copy of your passport ID page and a selfie against a white wall with your postal address and mobile number, to enq@haj.co.uk.
The UK quota seems to be about 3,500 Hajj visas per year within this new system, however, there is a much greater number of people who would like to perform Hajj. In 2023 within 1 or 2 days of the packages being released all the UK quota was filled. Therefore it is important to be ready and act fast.
It is important that the Saudi authorities inform everyone in advance about the exact date and time at which the Hajj packages are to be released so that everyone has a fair chance of purchasing a package.
The new system from the Saudi Hajj ministry means that people can no longer have the peace of mind of booking a Hajj package in advance and know that they will definitely be able to perform Hajj this year. The prices are much higher, the personalised service is no longer an option and no legal recourse available in UK.
